During my recent stay at the Albergo in Florida, approximately 12 km from the nearest airport, I was drawn not only to its convenient location but also to the culinary offerings that awaited. Nestled just 100 metres from Lungomare di Capo Rizzuto Beach, the hotel's dining area boasts an inviting ambiance that beautifully marries coastal charm with a touch of sophistication. Breakfast was a good affair, featuring an array of locally sourced ingredients. The highlight for me was the homemade frittata, showcasing a freshness that is often missing in dining establishments. The dining staff exhibited genuine warmth, enhancing the experience with attentive service while allowing for moments of peaceful solitude-a perfect way to start any day. Dinner at the hotel restaurant revealed a commitment to culinary innovation. I savored a seafood risotto that was both rich and delicately flavoured, brilliantly accentuated by hints of lemon and fresh herbs. The atmosphere during dinner was relaxed yet upscale, making it a suitable destination for food enthusiasts looking for more than just a meal.
